Finasteride not working for me :(

My friend was also taking Dutasteride for 3 months and didn't see any changes, and I told him to do make blood work, and his DHT was almost at the top of the chart, so I told him that it's useless and to stop taking it. 2 months after he stopped he did the DHT blood work again, and it was pretty much the same.

Get on duta. I’ve been on fin for 7 months and my hairfall has stopped and hair looks thicker and hairline looks better as well.

First, make sure your hair loss is actually Male Pattern Baldness/ Androgenetic Alopecia. If it is, then do blood work to make sure your DHT has gone down.

Also do really intense scalp massages to break the scalp fibrosis up. Sometimes the scar tissue in the scalp causes further hair loss despite DHT going down.

How can i find out if its androgenic or not?
When is startet with fin, my total test was very low with 330ng/dl. Now its up to 580ng/dl, and my E levels also higher.

Well, theoretically all male pattern hair loss is androgenic. But if you have legit finasteride and it's still falling a lot then MAYBE it's not the ONLY factor. During a good chunk of my Finasteride use i was still losing a lot of hair but i think it was related to some dandruff or something, try to notice if it's falling from all over your head or mainly your hairline/crown. Have you ever used Accutane?
Some people also say excessive masturbation might cause hair loss.

In general i don't recommend Finasteride use because i am a (mild) PFS sufferer. But if you're going to try other stuff then i would say that Fin 5mg is less worse then Dutasteride, as that also inhibits other unrelated enzymes present in your brain.

I recently discovered that Red Light Therapy may also help hair loss, maybe try that and tell us if it works?

Make sure you actually suffer from AGA. Best case scenario you go to a trichologist

Did you do blood work? Estradiol, test, dht, thyroid, vitamins, minerals etc.

Did you take high quality pictures to monitor your hair status?

Are you sure you are losing ground or are you just losing hairs when showering etc? In the latter case losing some hair daily is normal. Up to around a 100. If you dont shower for a few days the fallen out hairs might accumulate. Get a hair catcher for your sink and count them after showering daily

It can also happen that you can take a DHT block and have no effect on on your serum DHT levels, or it can happen that even if your DHT gets nukes, your hair follicles receptors are very sensible to Testosterone (especially after the Testosterone boost which Finasteride gives).

got the point the shedding became extreme and within a couple weeks the receding was visible to everyone (I had a terrible hairline beforehand but hair type and length plus forehead shape allowed me to run flawless cover up game)

legit had never been more mentally fucked in my life it’s insane, Especially because I actually have a legit face but was young looking plus have average frame and height and i

get on duta or you will regret it forever

i first loaded up for a week or maybe 2 taking 2 pills a day I believe (don’t really remember)

then I just took one daily pill for another couple weeks then started doing every 3 days (so twice a week) for maybe another couple weeks then settled on 1 capsule every week

p sure people can pull up scientific data saying that the loading phase should b longer but this worked for me and my balding genes are absolutely gut tier

this all happened right before I turned 21

Be aware duta will make u shed but this is normal (also not getting on duta cause of this is retarded because you’ll shed that hair anyways without it, the difference is after the duta shedding phase your hair Will get better instead of worse) just run hat game during those 2-4 weeks, some guys legit do that for years

I’d say within 6 weeks of starting duta and needling my hair loss was stabilized and a little over a year later my hairline looks like Leonardo dicaprios (early, mid 2000s leonardo) if I pull my hair back real hard and tight baldcels and pslers can spot thinning one temple but once I let it go it legit looks like a have zero baldness
Also I must say recently a black barber fixed up the framing my hairline has on my face (we didn’t talk about it nor I asked for it I just went for a regular cut and he did it because black barbers understand hairlines and face framing very very good)

hope this is lifefuel because I literally legit I was feeling how life was closing down on me when the extreme shedding on fina started and suddenly I was legit balding even to the eyes of normies

Just to finish up I wanna say that bathmate fixed up the reduced erection quality duta gave me so dw about sides and save ur hair
