Been doing ts for 1.5 years in uni finally saw fucking growth

Just hit my first good month growth has consistently increased over past months, went from averaging 1.5k a month to avg 5-6k per month past few months, made 8.2k in April. (Living in Arizona rn and its like 1AM as of posting). Predicting this month's income at 8k or 9k+ if I lock in. Lots yall will say this is shit but its a literal side gig I barely even do full time thats making me more than most entry level jobs.

So basically, since the release of open source AI models i've been contacting businesses online and just either building them websites using ai (charging money) and also doing them ai chatbot integrations and minor monthly tweaks to websites/models for a fee. I use open source ai models and do not build my own, I just integrate the workflows and fix websites myself occasionally.

TLDR; Charge money to make websites using ai and manually fixing models when updated and shit every month or few for money (upfront money charge and monthly charge)

Currently im doing like 500 USD per website/full ai model which actually requires like maybe 6-8 months of learning to know how to build and then I charge like maybe 100-200 USD per month for fixing, might do more depending on client business size.

Current scaling plan is to part time hire some veteran dev from romania or poland to do ts for me, already found the guy.

Once i hit 10k a month im gonna finance a bmw m3 while still in uni and get some fat grafts/implants perhaps later down the line

Might actually drop out idk but this is proof the grind is fucking worth it im projected to hit 10k per month in 3-4 more months if i scale properly. If I do it full time in few years im aiming for like 4-5 employees (currently have 0).

Can you tell us a little more about your beginnings and how you learned computer science?

You do not need computer science to do this I barely even know how to code I hire senior devs from eastern europe for few hours for complex updates I can't do myself (My strengths are just mostly in scaling and application usage)

For AI integrations and stuff you simply need to know how to use ai integration applications like zapier and makeflow, for example on makeflow you can use open source chatgpt models (theyre basically like shell models made by OpenAI) to auto reply to messages on whatsapp.

For clients when I began I just found businesses on facebook (because it tends to be where the lower tech knowledge blue collar businesses reside) and messaged them explaining how browsers work and how they are losing customers due to slow replies and downtime and then offered to make a bot for them using above process. I'd make a few message templates and copy and paste them and send maybe 50 times a day (sounds like a lot but including reply time it maybe takes only like 2-3 hours daily). If I got one customer out of those 50 then I'd charge between 200 - 500 USD for integrations depending on business size, and about 200 - 300 USD monthly for maintenance. Once I got a good client base I just started posting lead recovery guides on linkedin and passively got clients because I get referred and show up for local business owners.

You can charge more for each integration if you're doing this, just depends on their income.

Damn man, respect, high IQ
So if I understand correctly, your goal is not to create websites with AI, but to integrate a chatbot for your customers onto their website?

Yea thats about it the skilled part is mostly in marketing and consistency

The chatbot is integrated onto both website and messaging apps sometimes email too. Can automatically make offers or reply to emails to not lose customers.

I also make websites with AI but its like not common unless I need some quick money, I literally just hop onto base44 or whatever other app there is and make a site in like 5 minutes. They probably won't pay more than 80 dollars for such a site and its a tiktok larp method that doesnt work

So if I understand correctly, your goal At first, you were just integrating a chatbot into their site, then you progressed to creating a website for them. Do you buy domain names and invoice them with a contract before creation? Or do you give them a sample of what their site could look like? Dude, if you make a real topic out of it, it could be really fascinating.

Basically: I do one of two things for clients

1. Integrate chat bots into their email or messaging apps
2. Make them a website

I do not purchase domains I simply connect the site from the app I used to THEIR domain, I use framer and base44.
What makes me the most money is still the ai chatbots though, the websites are still something I'm expanding on.

When I message clients I just do brief explanations on how theyre losing customers, how ai can save time, and some samples of either website or ai. Ai bots and websites are priced separately sometimes they buy both sometimes they only buy one. Often they will only get the bot and pay me monthly to fix it after patches/updates from OpenAI.

Little bit youtube, and a little bit from just asking people on github. You can learn this fully on youtube its just that the marketing and scaling needs real practice/work
