Fixing my deep bite mewcels GITH

I have a deep bite which is caused by not letting my middle teeth erupt. If you want to prevent this don't let your tongue rest against the teeth. The tongue should be resting on the alveolar ridge so the teeth can erupt. By fixing this problem I'm sure my maxilla will be pushed up and my jaw and chin will become fully projected.

what detriment does letting it rest on the teeth cause? like how does it make you uglier

It brings down the midface(longer) and makes the chin look recessed

The lower third is shortened and the jaw is set back due to the incisors not aligning properly

I think you can have your tongue touching the back teeth slightly if you need your intermolar width to expand

is this valid even if you are over 18 years old? Also what do you mean by erupt.
Will mewing fix a weak chin?

In some cases its over-eruption of the incisors as well, not sure of how frequent this happens. Regardless it should help.

yeah very old thread but wtf do i do. my molars seem to be flattened and my incisors are in normal position i think.
