Fluctuating Side Effects On Fin/Dut

I've side effects on an off while using dutasteride. Same happened when I used fin. I begin experiencing sexual side effects such as semi erectile dysfunction, unable to have an orgasm and severly decreased sexual pleasure. Side effects mostly persist for a few weeks then they go away on their own for 1-2 weeks. This vicious cycle repeats itself. What could be the reason?

the thing is that all these studies on topical fin measure serum dht after 1 week or so

it would be more interesting to know how the serum dht level is after 1 year

many claim it builds up with time so that there is no difference

ofc op could also start with a very low dose of topical or oral

I agree that 1 week studies are faulty.

My problem with all the topical finasteride studies is that they run various doses of topical against 1ml oral. Maybe 0.5mg oral works better than all? We don't know.

I think topical is used heavily as a selling point because the uninitiated people will think "oh I apply it on my hair it shouldn't affect my nuts."
