FME WITH WIDE FACE

Thinking about getting FME Marpe, in conjunction with bite blocks (to mitigate cw rotation giving i’m already at 125-127° gonial angle roughly) and a reverse head gear (to tilt teeth and give upper lip a bit more support frauding a more visually forward maxilla)

Though i have wide zygos already (5.8”) and i know a palate expander will widen them some more, my midface ratio is 1.1, so on the compact side, mostly due to slightly wide ipd. nasal base is slightly wide aswell and marpe will widen both my zygos, ipd & nasal out of their already slightly unideal ratios. but my lips/smile is death tier narrow, lip widening has not worked, lip widening surgically is mainly used for functional purposes rather than cosmetic so a scar is expected and not worth it. i do know fme like other marpes though less do lengthen midface, mines reads long though the ratio is short due to narrow lips.

my plan is whats listed above, then an rhino/alarplasty to slim the nose back down, jaw angle implants to harmonize my jaw to bizygo being its bearly ideal at 88% rn id likely need to, i have other procedures planned irrelevant to said issues so ill leave those out unless curious.

genuinely not sure if i should get it (can not get anything invasive like lefort / djs due to reactions with general anesthesia, which is why im going this route.

pfl is kinda mid 30 mm with my wide zygos reads close set as is, that’s the main thing im worried about, do you know of any way to lengthen surgically, and yea that’s true

Probably not and you dont want to mess with your eyes, you could possibly fraud your percivied PFL with hair on your temples as im guessing they are wide, some people have good pfl but wide temples that make them look short, take vito and opry for example they both have same pfl lenght but oprys temples are giga wide, and vitos temples are super narrow. What you should be doing is putting hair in your temples to fraud a better percieved pfl, and curling your lashes its kinda cope but again its how your pfl is percieved

so do you think its not my 14.75 cm bizygo but rather my temples? i’m growing my hair out for this purpose, only thing i have brutal cowlicks so my hair won’t stay in place, planning on perming my curls to wavy either way. yea i do have wide temples just as wide as my zygos so around 5.8” aswell might lowkey do a mm or 2 of eyeliner on my outereye too if it looks realistic at profile aswell might get it tatted as shading jfl and its good nigga just did
