FML, my cousin is in love with me

2nd cousin is alright bhai, i say go for it. Beats being an incel into your 30s. What a shit life that would be, a life with a foid who is in love with you is going to be 10000x more pleasant and joyful than alone. 2nd cousins ain't even that much related to you tbh.

You have a point but I have a mental block since we are still somewhat closely related. Would you have gone for it?

If she was a fair skin MTB? yes, i'm also nto into cousin marriage but 2nd cousin isn't even that related to you, barely tbh. Moreso in name than actual % of genetic dna i would say. In your case i would go for it, if you're LTN/truecel then a girl who is in love with you is like a alottery win, you can get marriage but truecels never get a foid to fall in love with them, how do you know she's in lvoe with you though

Nah, she’s a brown MTB. Not dark brown but medium brown if that makes sense. I gotta research more about how much dna we share but it’s going to be quite low, especially since she’s mixed. And yeah it highkey would have been a lottery win but only if she wasn’t family. :ROFLMAO:

Nobody’s really forcing me, thankfully — but I am trying my best not to hurt anyone’s feelings. However I’m not always successful, sadly.
No problem, bhai. Normally, saying ‘I’m not ready yet’ will do the trick. If she says she will wait, tell her you’re planning to marry at an older age and that she will expire, because we all know that in our culture, women have an expiry date.

I used the “I’m not ready yet” argument before on someone else and it did work. She already said she would wait no matter what. I’m telling you, this reminds me of my former oneitis situation and that’s maybe why I’m so sensitive about this matter.

If they’re willing to let her wait years for one man, they’re not making the right choices. You can’t be forced into anything, tell them you’re not even sure if you want to get married, to cloud their view of any future perspective even more. If, after years, they still push the issue, make it clear to your parents that that’s final and they need to communicate it with them.

Bonus option: if she really is good wifey material, just go ahead and marry her though. 😬

She’s my second cousin, which means we share one great-grandparent. And she belongs to two different ethnic groups herself, so you’d expect her to continue that tradition instead. I don’t want to marry a relative and I don’t want to break her heart, what the hell do I do?
Aren't you a muslim/araboid anyways? Your entire race originates from cousin marriage, I'd say go for it

Well, to be fair, it says “distant cousin,” it doesn’t say how far or close. For instance, when you and I are considered “distant cousins” because of “muh we are all one big family.”

She’d highkey make a great wife but she’s family and I don’t want to marry a relative. She’s kinda selfish though but I get it.

That would hurt her feelings which I can’t do. I’d rather she just gets sick & tired of me and ditches me on her own accord.

Yes, I’m a muzzie. It’s allowed to marry first cousins too but I don’t care for that stuff.

Sticky situation

I personally would never have any relationship with anyone in my family. I can tell there are people in the family who are conventionally attractive, I just can’t find myself to be attracted to family

Just go for it maybe bhai . Why don’t you want to marry her if she is your cousin? Is it because of taboo stigma?

No, it’s not because of any taboo. I decided myself years ago that I wouldn’t marry a relative; I just don’t like the thought of it. But then this suddenly came over me. :feelswhy:

Yes, my parents know and so does her mother. But only after she confessed to me, before that she didn’t share with anyone. You know my former oneitis situation, so I took a lot of pity on her because I could just relate to it, and I know how brutal it was when I got rejected so I at the very least want to try to make her stop liking me rather than acting the way my former oneitis did with me. It was absolutely horrible and I became extremely depressed so there’s no way I’ll let it happen to anyone else. I can’t just say “no I don’t want you,” or something like that. It’s too direct. I’d rather she gets sick and tired of me and leaves me alone on her own accord rather than me purposefully ignoring her and stuff like that (which is what my former oneitis did, but I understand she had no other option, so I don’t have any complaints against her or ill will in general).
