Im not saying that all evidence is worthless, what i am saying however is that this specific evidence you are presenting to me is weak since it stands mostly on its own, and is not coming from a neutral stance. And whilst you are correct that bias doesnt make something invalid, what it DOES do is limit how much weight this evidence carries. If your only supporting evidence is someone who has a reason to back you then it doesnt move me as much when deciding on what to concludee

Im not claiming it to be”worthless”, im saying it has limited weight in backing your claims. Courts wont just take someone such as your friend with a clear bias at face value, they will compare them against other evidence to come to a final conclusion. This goes back to my point about how a biased witness ON ITS OWN is usually not that strong.

And whilst youre right that people who actually know you are naturally not neutral, it just means that their testimony cant be the main thing that you rely on. Its not that my standard makes verification impossible, its that youre relying on one of the weaker forms of verification and expecting it to carry the weight that it doesnt

The issue itself isnt that your past statements dont match your current ones, its that youve shown your current views change a lot (as ive seen in all the threads i was consistently tagged in prior to my self-ban). If anything inconsistency with your views on race over time means people will be more likely to not take your current word, which is why we are left with the “trust me bro” method of verification.

This further proves the previous points i have made on how you were clearly saying extreme stuff before, thus making it harder for me to separate what you actually believe from what you say to purposefully bait niggas on this forum

This isnt about me constantly holding your past over you, its just that you cant use the argument that im judging you by your consistency, whilst also asking people to ignore that your positions have constantly shifted in the past. If anything it just lowers the weight your current claim holds further

you are right that beliefs are harder to verify, but that doesn’t make all evidence worthless, we infer beliefs from consistent behavior and statements over time, and my friend is just one piece of that, dismissing their input entirely because of ''bias'' doesn't make sense, by that logic, no one could ever confirm anything about anyone.

No one's saying bias doesn't exist, the problem is you're treating biased testimony as worthless instead of weighing it, like, even in court, biased witnesses are still used, evaluated, not ignored, and for something like beliefs, the people who actually know you are naturally not ''neutral'' so your standard just makes verification impossible.
