I mostly started accutane because of the acne on my face (atleast I thought they were acne) and I have been on it for 2,5 months. I didn't have acne on my face because I had been using tretinoin for 3 years before starting accutane, the only problem was my neck. I think what I have is folliculitis and not acne, atleast seems like it. And the accutane was literally didn't help with it at all or maybe even made it worse. I don't wanna quit the accutane rn and start something like doxycycline (I think they can't be ran together) Since one of the other reasons I am running accutane rn is that I want to start running anabolics after I am done with the current weightloss(reta + hgh) and accutane. What can I possibly do in this situation. Every shave it gets worse and idk what to do (I have tried everything about shaving for the past few years like oneblade, safety razor, rotary, etc et.. currently using one blade extra sensitive blades and they don't help either). Can I increase my accutane dose to higher numbers to get off it faster and start using doxycycline? Would something otc work? Or anything I can use with accutane? I am 80kg and using 40mg of accutane rn.
Thanks for the help <3
Tldr: what can I do for folliculitis if accutane doesn't help.
