TL;DR: I’m a concept artist. Realized my facial bone structure is hard-locked by genetics, so I decided to Environmentmaxx instead. Creating atmospheric fantasy arenas and dungeons so at least my digital surroundings look T1.

Why Environmentmaxxing?

Boys, if genetics gatekeep your facial features, you have two options: cry about your hyoid bone, or construct high-tier environments that mog the real world.
As a concept artist, I draw everything - characters, props, keyframes, and environments. But creating dark, moody, cinematic environments hits different.
  • Lighting Mog: Who needs sub-zygomatic hollows when you can paint rim-lighting and ambient occlusion that creates pure atmosphere?
  • Scale & Proportion: If your frame-width isn't cut out for Chadlite status, just paint massive ancient coliseums to cope with scale.

Concept Art Examples (Attached)

Here are two environmental concept pieces I recently painted:
  1. The Cave Training Grounds: Warm contrast lighting, high-tension sparring setup, ancient underground archive vibes.
  2. The Stone Amphitheater: Dark, stone-carved arena featuring heavy lighting focus on the central altar.

Feedback / Questions for the Coper Club:

  1. Which environmental aesthetic mogs harder: The warm cave hideout or the cold stone amphitheater?
  2. Is Artmaxxing a valid cope for guys stuck in sub-5 reality?
  3. What location should I paint next to maximize atmospheric ascension?
Let me know what you think of the composition, lighting, and mood. Roast my art or rate the aesthetic.
