not specifically, theres just a thing u twist inside and it widens -> which stretches your palate, u can see the little metal bar with holes in the connection (this is for the lower row of teeth but they look pretty much the same for both sides) im currently looking to buy a expander key to widen it properly

be careful It's for kids/teens who are still developing, if your shit is fused already you'll only move your teeth

im 18 also it works for the upper jaw longer than it works for the lower jaw but i appreciate it

yes bro upper jaw takes longer, but a basic removable expander will mostly tip teeth outward, not widen the upper jaw if you are already done developing. Are you sure your suture is open?

Edit: you'll need a skeletal borne expander if it's closed(MSE or MARPE)
