Basically cut a mouth guard in half to where it just covers the front 4-5 teeth

This will allow your mandibular condyle to be displaced and in return you will get more chin height/lower third height

This is basically for bruxism dudes who have no chin height and a long midface

I had bruxism and gained chin height by clenching / chewing lightly with my front teeth on a mouthguard . If my gonial angle decreased does it mean i got ccw? Face looks more boxed and squared but i dont know if it necessarily made me better gl

Not sure

But I tried the method in my post just for one day and I’m pretty sure my chin height increased.

Since you’re not building bone or anything it’s just displacement of the mandibular condyle from the back teeth not touching. So that should happen fast I would think

Also girls responded way better to pics with my chin height increased. Prob boosted my PSL by 2 points since

so what you just rest your teeth on the mouthguard? Clenching or anything?

Yes just resting. Idea is to let the condyle displace and drop down. Got the idea from this thread

Now I’m not sure if it can work with just a mouth guard wearing it normally and not cutting it in half or not though. Not sure if the back teeth need to not be touching or not

I experimented with just cutting it in half and letting there be a big gap inbetween the back teeth to where they’re not touching

it’s complicated on “why” I expiremented with cutting it in half and letting the back teeth not touch. If you want to know why:

When I was younger I had a clear bottom essix retainer that covered my bottom front 6 teeth and i gained crazy chin height from that. It made my back teeth not touch as much(if at all if I remember correctly)

Well I lost that retainer and I lost the chin height so that’s why I experimented wit cutting the mouthgaurd in half (to replicate the back teeth not touching as much)

Also take a look a bite splints/Mandinular repositioning devices etc a lot of them have the back teeth not touching

I did sort of similar where I rest my lower jaw and don't touch teeth. Even when I chew I notice my overall lower third height had increased. I also chew backwards focusing on temporalis activation to help widen the lower arch

Mike Mew said it’s not good. I don’t know why.
Not as if touching teeth mogs anyway. People with bruxism have shit facial aesthetics
