He’s technically right about percentiles the issue is that to get the best jobs you need to really hit the extreme end of the bell curve.
Ideally 90th percentile +.
I.e outcomes become more disparate as you move past 1 SD.

Of course, you can score higher in specific areas of strength.

There are better online options for testing inductive reasoning, though.
For example, the JCTI by Jouve or the SEE30 - they give you unlimited time (though you shouldn’t waste days on them) to reduce the load on working memory and processing speed.

The C-09 for numerical/ verbal reasoning is also a great choice.

You can also just try the CAIT, or at least some of its subtests.
