I'll list all the studies that I was able to find one by one and give a short summary of each of these studies
In a famous 1995 study. Researchers had women sniff sweaty T-shirts worn by men with different immune system genes (called MHC). The result? Women overwhelmingly preferred the scent of guys whose MHC genes were different from theirs. Why? Becuse Mixing genes = stronger immune systems for future kids. When fragrances were added, this preference got even stronger.
A study by Herz & Cahill (1997) proved that smelling nice makes people think you're more attractive. Participants rated strangers wearing a pleasant citrus,, floral fragrance as more attractive and apportionment, musky woody fragrances as more masculine and confident compared to those with no scent.

Pheromones + perfume shows genetic quality. Good smells instantly makes you more attractive. Fresh scents are global symbol of health while woody, spicy, musky perfume notes signalling confidence, masculinity etc depend on the conditioning of your brain to associate those scents with those qualities or emotions which varies from one culture to another.
