Even if the results of our choices are already known, that doesn’t change our internal process that leads to that decision. There is inherent randomness in what decisions we make, and if the fact that “something” will happen and always will have had happened is all it takes for you to believe that then just kill yourself right now like you always would’ve.

Okay but you’re speaking as if destiny is something tangible, or that anybody can predict what their future holds and what decisions other people will make that impact their life. If anything it’s just relinquishing control and allowing some abstract concept to make you give up your internal locus of control. I don’t see how you can just ignore your own willpower, and the fact that you decrease it by reading shit about how powerless and cucked you are.
If everything is fated and predetermined, it’s not about giving up willpower. it’s recognizing that even your willpower, your resistance, your thoughts, and your rebellion are part of the script. Just like gravity doesn’t ask for permission, cause and effect ripple through every action, thought, and decision rooted in genetics, environment, history, and chance. You feel like you’re choosing, but your choices are shaped by things you didn’t choose. Free will feels real, but it may be an illusion emerging from a deeply deterministic universe. Denying fate is just what you were always going to do.
So are you some kind of idealist that believes in a higher will or spirit that represents the whole humanity as advances or are you more inclined to something like the collective unconscious?
