Not true. What do you think camouflage treatment is. It’s aligning the dental arches but not fixing the underlying problem for most people which is recessed and downward grown jaws that didn’t grow properly. While braces can get you a class one occlusion which is medically acceptable if you don’t have sleep apnea it’s not fixing the actual jaws.

You have a good base, good bones and eye area it appears. You're just lacking in the gonion area.

What matters is the occlusion to determine if a jaw is recessed or not. Period. End of discussion. Ask any orthodontist they will tell you that. My curiosity is with chin genetics.
