Fuck Im balding hard at the crown at 17 srs answrs onlyhelp asa

can you elab on head/neck posture in relation to hair
holding bad head/neck posture stretches your soft tissue in awkward ways, making it decrease blood flow and create microfractures in the scalp which are then covered in scar tissue over time (hair loss = lack of oxygen + scar tissue buildup on top of the dying follicles)

Atleast get ketaconazole shampoo it's a mild anti androgen so should help u keep hair till u get old enough to get on topical fin if you're so against it rn. As for me I experience no loss in libido, no brain fog, nothing that would mean low systamatic dht on topical finasteride
I have nizoral shampoo from amazon is that good enough?

Tell me more abt topical
idk about studies there's not many in topical finasteride rn. You cannot believe just one study to make conclusions. I tell you what I'm experiencing and like I told you nothing to worry about. I'll get blood work after the lockdown ends.

Does sleeping on the floor help?

I have a red light therapy lamp if I use that it shod help my hair right!

Scalp mewing? U mean scalp massage? I have been doing them all day of course no insta results but i will see over time
no, scalp exercises as in contracting your frontalis and occipital muscles in an alternate way

yes it works decent, get 2%. I know of another mild topical anti androgen I'll look it up and tell u what that is don't remember what it was rn

What will that do?
i made this whole thread on this a while ago if you're interested:

you can also go through these articles if you want, they're very interesting:

don't get me wrong, i still consider this a theory. though a well supported one.

1) contract the muscles on your forehead
2) let them go
3) contract the muscles on the back of your head
4) let them go
5) repeat

Honestly with that much balding at 17, idk if Fin or Dut is worth it. Might be easier to go bald then roid

How old r u?
I'm 20 and I'm ded srs about everything I say. Anyways it's upto you, see if Nizoral works for you give it 2-3 months. If not then we can go over this once again. You can try drinking castor oil I heard it improves shbg. And yes anything that improves blood flow like cold shower will help but not much.

since you're one of the few here who supports mechanical tension theory, i'll say this to you
scalp exercises work quite well at easing scalp tension and increasing blood flow
i've been doing them for almost a month, the mild shedding i had before is almost completely gone and i'm also experiencing some regrowth in some parts of my hairline
scalp mewing is indeed legit, i will keep on doing it forever
that's very interesting, thank you. i have undoubtely experienced regrowth around my hairline once i decreased my habit of using the frontalis muscle

Looks really sudden for it to be Male Pattern Baldness.
Judging from your lifestyle it's probably stress-induced. You should relax and learn to take better care of your body and your hair.
See you in 1 year.

i don't do scalp mewing (jfl at that name) but it's probably not that complicated. neck training is probably a good idea.

Don't take fin unless you're absolutely sure it's MPB.
Finish your exams and then focus on getting a good diet, good sleep and a light workout routine (running/walking every other day).
Stop washing your hair every single day and start learning about good hair care.
If you see no improvement in 6 months, then you can get yourself checked by a specialist and see if it's MPB.
Godspeed bro

Also here's little something that I experienced but have no data to back my claims upon. I had severe hair loss 70-100 strands a day at 18, at nearly the end of 19 I started taking AI(Letrozole) for heightmaxxing, hair loss got worse on it 150 strands on a good day. I got off AI after 3 months but this time at around 20 my hair loss became even better than before starting AI, 20 strands lost at most on a day, I started topical fin and minox a month ago and Im in the process of regrowing what I lost at 18. My theory is that being on AI and inhibiting aromatese for along time changes aromatese expression. Aromatese expression is also a key factor in hair loss.

u are talking abt the galea tension 'theory' right?

doesnt the fact that transplanted androgen-insensitive hair doesnt miniaturize when moved to the top of the crown go against it?

although increasing tension in the scalp muscles could promote more dht to the follicles ig

take some drugs to counteract the affects of stress, i'm serious, do it now

I think you may have some sort of vitamin defiency or maybe thyroid issues. My guess is on vitamin deficiency. But since you said it happened in an hour it may even be stress.

Since your dad has no hair at his crown, you’d eventually lose hair there as well. Sadly for you, it seems to be happening quite early. I’d say improve your lifestyle/diet by reducing stress and eating healthier. Also hop on minox.
He is retired age and had a shit lifestyle smoking since 14 high stress life etc

@Gaia262 bless u for making the hair systems thread I would rather use a hair system than get on fin

Fin fucks ur hormones and hormones are everything

Imagine taking fin and being a timid beta for the rest of ur life

Screw that
