did my first high volume leg day on saturday. woke up at 5am today from excruciating adductor & quad pain, thinking my legs were about to come off. was walking around my uni in agony the entire day looking like a FUCKING BOSTON DYNAMICS ROBOT. fuck ts:feelsohgod::feelsohgod::feelsohgod:

EDIT: I JUST LOOKED AT RECENT BOSTON DYNAMIC ROBOTS AND THE LITERALLY WALK BETTER THAN ME MAN WTF:lasereyes:

I quit training legs like 4 months ago now and don’t regret it one bit, better to just save yourself from the cortisol spike and the fatigue+recovery process.

Trading upper body atleast has a return on investment, no girl gives two shits how big your legs are and realistically most of the time they’ll be covered.
Just take an extra rest day and don’t train legs

i mean i havent trained legs before this in about 6 months, and wanted to make them look more proportional with my upper body/maintain muscle. but yeah nah fuck this. i will only train them once a month at high intensity now.

something i realized a while back, but something i decided to give another chance to. fuckin stupid me:feelstastyman:

Yeah I’ve been trying to keep the amount I work out to a minimum recently (5x per week but I don’t actually do much lifting) I go gym with friends so it’s never that intense and it’s more of a laugh. Ive barely lost any muscle and I already had a good amount of muscle mass so I don’t care about progress.

My face definitely looks better (although that may partly be because I’m still cutting), don’t have the chronic cortisol face

I train very little each session, most of the time I’m just talking to my friends. I could easily condense that amount of actual training into just 2 sessions a week

i honestly enjoy hitting legs

but it is definetly less enjoyable than other muscle groups
 
are you natty ? if yes then yeh its a meme but if you are enhanced then you should 100% train them cuz you definetly can reach a point where your upper body is significantly more muscular than lower body and it shows even when you are wearing clothes thing is being talll makes it hell to grow your legs but thank god gear exists i cannot imagine how natties even train legs

thats what i used to be doing before this cycle. im experimenting atp.
