And amount of visceral fat is highly linked to insulin resistance.

Eat high protein
Fast every couple of weeks at least
Take foods like spirulina, turmeric with black pepper, matcha, ginger, etc. Like these, there are so many other natural stuff u can take too that work better than medications for insulin.
Eat wild berries

I eat them everyday
both honey and dark chocolate can actually help control your blood sugar (increase insulin sensitivity) and are anti inflammatory and high in anti oxidants
I sweeten most of my foods with honey
