my full bimax + orthodontics will be covered by insurance.
gotta love living in europe man.

if you're in europe and have good health insurance, go hit up an ortho, you might get it for free.
just tell them about your breathing issues and difficulty chewing (if you have malocclusion).

no you gotta be a different level of fucked up to get it for free

they will just give you a CPAP machine otherwise to save on costs

define "different level of fucked up"...
I have malocclusion and maxillary recession, which is reason enough for insurance to cover the full treatment.
They btw never mentioned any CPAP machine to me and I can sleep fine, no issues.

where do you live? did they not run any tests for 1-2 weeks monitoring your oxygen levels throughout the day? you just told them that you had trouble breathing?

Netherlands

No, they just say my malocclusion/recession after doing scans and said it's not fixable with braces, so I need surgery.
you just told them that you had trouble breathing?
Tbh no. I just put that in this thread for guys that might have trouble with that, I don't. My maxfac surgeon told me that he does a lot of similar cases when people have trouble breathing.
I just have a fucked up bite which causes difficulty when chewing. Also aesthetically it's not the best of course.

how’d you go about it

I have trouble breathing, but dentist said that my bite is fine. Even though my entire face is recessed. Problem is, it looks normal to bluepilled niggas since my entire front face, including cheekbones, upper and lower jaw is equally recessed, so I just look flat, but nothing sticks out or hangs back to look out of the ordinary. I don't think my social health insurance would cover it. What kind of insurance is it in NL? Private or?

Yeah sadly many just go by bite. I think if my bite was good, I wouldn't have got it insured.

same, hopefully not anymore soon

Standard health insurance, but by one of the best companies here. I'm paying quite a lot of premium every month, but well worth it.
Thanks for the info.
