Most of you guys haven’t undertonemaxxed yet and I don’t blame you because it takes too long and is very difficult.
The current mainstream advice to achieve red undertones is to take lycopene + astaxanthin daily. This however is tedious, takes a long time, gives minimal effect, and is also expensive (unless you bulk buy raw powder which is inconvenient). The other way is to increase your red blood cell count through testosterone (or maybe equipoise) but most of you are wimps and won’t hop on, also hopping on just for this is ridiculous it should be part of a broader benefit/risk assessment.
I have recently discovered that microneedling your face can create subtle inflammation and achieve a red glow instantly.
I use a 0.25mm derma stamp all over my face and this is of course not very deep at all, it won’t cause much pain or irritation, and will not make you look overly red. It gives just the right amount of redness to my face to put me into the ideal undertone range. I use an alcohol swab on my face (I don’t recommend doing this if you have super sensitive skin) and disinfect the derma stamp in isopropyl alcohol. Best part is, the effects last 3-5 days, and now I am only doing it once every 10 days as maintenance.
To avoid any irritation, albeit very minimal, I do it in the evening and use “La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+” which helps soothe my skin snd keep my skin barrier intact.
As an added benefit, the microneedling is making the very outer surface of my skin smoother and removing fine wrinkles.
The cost in total is very little, only the derma stamp and technically alcohol wipes as well as the B5 balm.
FYI: I use the an adjustable 0.25-3mm derma stamp, adjustable with 0.25mm increments.
Don’t bother with a derma roller for this, it may lead to more uneven redness.
