How impactful was the norman invasion of england? and regarding the normans as well could any minor impact they had also be minimized because of normans also descending from germanic groups like the norse or did they intermarry with the frankish and celtic to the point where said norse/germanic descent was minimized?

Norman impact on English DNA is very small, a modern English person could probably only attribute a small percent of their ancestry to the Normans.

The Franks were a Germanic group themselves and while the Norsemen (Normans) did intermarry with them, it was more common to mix with the native Celtic population of France. By the time of the 1066 invasion of England the average Norman was probably most Celtic with a large minority of their DNA being attributed to different Germanic groups.
