Genetics vs Things You Can Actually Change
A lot of people on here get stuck thinking their genetics completely decide how they lookGenetics obviously matter a lot but there is still a huge amount you can improve without changing your actual bone structure
Mostly genetic:
Height
Bones
Skull shape
Eye shape
Natural hair density
Natural facial proportions
Nose structure
Jaw width
Chin projection
Natural skin tendencies
obviously you can hardmaxx but most users won’t even consider it
genetics vs what you can actually change
I see a lot of people on here coping and instantly blame genetics for everythingbones under your skin = genetics
genetics obviously matter but normies blame genes for everything
there’s a difference between having bad genetics and just not trying
your bone structure is mostly genetic obviously
your skull shape
jaw width
chin projection
eye shape
orbital structure
nose structure
height most brutal
etc
you aren’t gonna wake up and completely change your genetic base
but there’s a fuck ton of shit you CAN change
hair
your hairline and density are mostly genetic but your actual haircut isn’thair length
volume
texture
styling
all of this changes how your face is framed
same thing with eyebrows
you can’t change your orbital structure but cleaning up your brows and getting a shape that suits your face can make the eye area look way better
but it is over for you noorwoodcels
skin
skin is another obvious onegenetics can make you more acne prone or oily but that doesn’t mean you just have to accept looking like shit
basic skincare
proper hygiene
sleep
sunscreen
and actually treating acne properly can make a pretty noticeable difference
don’t need 15 fucking products either
isotretinoin and a sunscreen does more than any amount of pruducts will
physique
physique is probably one of the biggest onesyour frame and muscle insertions are genetic but you can still build muscle and change your body composition
training 4-5x a week and some roids will save you
this is proved time and time again
loox is a great example
posture
posture is another one people completely overlook
bad posture can make your neck look worse and make your whole physique look less aesthetic
standing properly isn’t gonna magically change your bones but it can make your existing structure present better
same with how you walk and carry yourself
https://looksmax.org/threads/postur...you-should-start-fixating-on-posture.2245824/
grooming
grooming is probably the easiest category to improvehair
eyebrows
facial hair
teeth
skin
nails
clothes
general hygiene
none of this changes your genetics
but all of it affects your overall presentation
someone with average genetics who is well groomed can easily look better than someone with better genetics who doesn’t take care of themselves
clothing
you can have a good physique and then wear clothes that completely fuck your proportionsor you can have average proportions and dress in a way that makes them look much better
fit matters way more than people think
photos
don’t judge your whole face from one shitty front camera pic taken 20cm away with overhead lightingfraud in every picture you can, morph yourself with apps like hypic or snow
Teeth
your teeth obviously affect your smile and lower face
basic dental hygiene is completely within your control
brushing
flossing
orthodontics
https://looksmax.org/threads/use-orthodontics-to-mog.2265043/
if someone has alignment or bite issues then orthodontic treatment is something to discuss with an actual dentist or orthodontist
pneumo method

genetics vs environment
some things are entirely genetic some things are heavily influenced by environment and some things are mostly under your controlfor example:
bone structure = heavily genetic
height = heavily genetic
hair density = heavily genetic
muscle gain = genetics + training + nutrition
body composition = genetics + lifestyle
skin = genetics + environment + skincare
physique = genetics + training + nutrition
grooming = mostly controllable
style = controllable
posture = trainable
so don’t put everything into one category
PEDs and pharmacology
My favouritethis part is purely educational because I see a lot of people on here throwing around PED names without actually understanding what they do
PED means performance enhancing drug
this can include anabolic steroids, growth related drugs and other substances used to alter things like muscle growth, recovery or body composition
anabolic steroids are synthetic compounds related to testosterone
they can increase androgen signalling which can increase muscle protein synthesis and affect things like strength and recovery
but there’s a massive difference between understanding the pharmacology and pretending these substances are some harmless looksmaxxing shortcut
PEDs can affect multiple systems in the body
hormonal function
blood pressure
cholesterol
liver health
kidney function
fertility
mood
cardiovascular health
the endocrine system is also complicated as fuck
so do your research before pinning drugs.
taking an external hormone or hormone like compound can interfere with the body’s own signalling because the body responds to changes in hormone levels
that’s why you’ll see people talking about things like suppression, HPTA, androgen receptors, estrogen and other endocrine pathways
AAS primarily act through androgen receptors other compounds can affect completely different pathways
so lumping every PED together as the same thing is inaccurate
also don’t confuse pharmacology with a recommendation
knowing how a drug works doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to use it
ancillaries are also a must when taking any PED's or pharmaceuticals
https://looksmax.org/threads/ancill...ime-story-serms-ai-hcg-liver-support.2316032/
I’m not putting cycles or dosing here because that’s not the point of this guide, the point is understanding what these substances actually are instead of seeing some random thread saying
the actual point of my thread
genetics obviously matter some people simply start with better cardsbut saying “I have bad genetics so there’s nothing I can do” is also dumb as shit
not genetic:
hair
skin
physique
posture
grooming
teeth
sleep
nutrition
don’t spend all day obsessing over one measurement while ignoring everything else
genetics = what you start with
lifestyle + grooming + style + consistency = what you do with it
and obviously pharmacology is a completely separate category with actual medical risks
focus on the shit you can control before blaming the shit you can’t
GENETICS → STARTING BLUEPRINT
LIFESTYLE → DEVELOPMENT
bs guide js wanted to post something
anyway keep coping
