As you see I lack some projection in my chin.
Would be a bad to reduce chin height? If it's even wise. My chin to phil is 2.67 and my total face fwhr is outside the ideal mainly lower third height.

Projection wise it's hard to know how much but I think a my nasion is quite tall and my lips somewhat big. I should go for much 8mm(can it be done without increase chin height)
If I remember My facial convexity (brow ridge, nosebase, chin) 163-165.

Maybe bimax but nose(alars) are in front of my mouth. My mandible is 11cm ramus 7cm. Its like my gonion starts far back

You literally have the exact same ballsack type chin that I have. I think we need a sliding genio

Yeah did u read the title? I asking if I can reduce the chin height. Like my gonial angle is in the ideal range so don't really know why chin is tall

tbh lil bro this side profile picture is very bad , it's easier to tell from a cbct scan and tell you , if you really need anything , to me it doesn't look like you lack chin projection on soft tissue level but on bone level it's something different and u need to actually see the scan

Why is the picture bad? U need landmarks like nasion and browridge to make a better judgment?

Pictures that are taken closely are highly distorted , even if i eye ball that it's just shit , also head tilt plays a role in this , and generally cbct scan can tell alot about your occlusion and bone structure underneath the skin so

Aight its actually a arms length selfie and just crop the face out. I think genio could be nice. But my question is if make the chin shorter is possible or even smart. My lower third is bit to tall. Maybe bimax with ccw rotation but then ofc my occlusion plane needs to be high.
Regardless bimax will not do much as I'm not super recessed, my nasion is very high so I am recessed in that regard.

U seem smart: nasion seems like bad landmark as Asian could be ultra recessed and still not be reccesed because there nasion is super flat.

It's not just the distance from the camera but the actual lens it self aswell, on that specific picture i'd rather not comment since it's shit picture and giving you inaccurate info would be just useless , regarding the chin to philtrum ratio I need to see a full frontal to tell you if something is even remotely necessary , you never isolate a feature like these pictures it just remove the harmony out of the equation which is just bad way to assess anything in facial aesthetics.

Related to occlusal planes and anything like that you need proper cbct scan and maxilio to get evaluation / have scans.

From my 2 cents with this very very limited information it doesn't seem like you're recessed and even if you are it's not something very big that will yield you any big points even if you take care of it

* A rule that you should always remmber that all of the features have meaning only when they are in full context aka showing full face
everything in the face is relative to other features nothing is just as is in isolation
