Genioplasty soon how much mm

Yea if his teeth allows it, else he need lefort aswell. But i mean genio will be sufficient here but morphing can be misleading if one doesnt know the surgery
The reason I ask is because I remember one user complaining here after BSSO advancement that the fold between the chin and lips was still too deep.

The mandible was not under-advanced.

Sometimes it isn't a skeletal problem and more likely a soft tissue, i have seen many people fix it with fat grafts, correct me if i am wrong though.

No, you’re right. Fillers are often used as well.

Cost of surgery from the 1st surgeon = 3.5k without aneathesia and with 5k.
Maybe insurance pays for the anesthesia if I combine the genio with extraction of

Had my first appointment with a surgeon and will have another one with a different surgeon soon.
He said 4-5 mm for an average chin and if I want more he will do so.
How much mm of advancement do you think I need for a good chin.
he can also make the chin longer so I have better facial thirds

I already have a gf since over 2 years. But my life definitely got way better.

Side profile looks CL but from front your chin still looks slightly short maybe additional 1-2 mm vertical could have ascended your front
anyways nice results :feelsez:
PM Surgeon and price OP

Thx
My philtrum is pretty long which makes it look shorter.
Personally I think more mm vertical wouldn’t be a good idea because I have very narrow and small chin which would make it look very pointy and more unnatural plus would make my mandible look more downgrown and hooked.

great results, I think you were the ideal genio candidate, what doctor did you went to if you dont mind me asking? in my country they dont perform genioplasty, they only do shitty implants...

Just came across a thread and wanted to use your genio as an example to see if their conclusion was right and I'm afraid it is. Mentolabial fold is an important part of genioplasty that most seem to forget about. Everyone seems to have loved your results it ascended you but for me something looked off and now I know why. Having a high and forward mentolabial fold is just as important as having an advanced chin. Your before, the first image, shows you have a retruded MF, an example from the thread shows Angelina Jolie who has an ideal MF where it's more forward right below your lip. Your surgeon should have done a higher cut genioplasty advancing it more. An example of better MF are Opry and Gandy though theres still aren't the best you can see a clear difference when using the 2 points in the Jolie photo to measure. Now to look at other examples, another org user @Mikhail. got a higher cut genio and it improved his very recessed MF a lot, though he could have probably got a few more mm of chin advancement. An example of the MF being improved is by Andre Luis Bim who does mogger genios. Heres another result where the MF got advanced another great result. Lastly, I will show 2 examples of a result similar to yours bringing subpar results, imo ofc. Hope i got this right and made it easy for you all to understand. I mean my morph was done in the assumption that the guy wanted to keep his chin vertically long so his phil doesnt look as long from the side and front in comparison. But the surgeon seemed to have disregarded this and did the sliding genio uppwards so the area between the chin and lower lip improved for a price

1774005731566

His front obv looks good know for other reasons but he has a 1 to 1 ratio between phil and chin

B612 20260320 123842 764

But he could do a rhino with columunella grafts a tip build with septum grafts and a slight lip lift to make the phil shorter and better looking. A very hard procedure to execute but prob possible

Thx bro, Keep in mind my chin is very narrow and thin, so too much advancement can result in an unnatural look where the chin is very pointy. The wider and thicker the chin is the more movement you can execute without having to worry about unnatural results.
