I had a talk with my doctor about my underbite and he referred me to a maxillofacial surgeon. I specifically brought up double jaw surgery when asking and he put some type of measuring tape in my mouth. After he took the measurement he decided to refer me to the surgeon. They’re supposed to reach out in the coming weeks, anything I should know before my consultation? I’m hoping to get the Bimax covered by insurance and for it to look the best it can anything I should bring up during the consultation to ensure that?

I dont know exactly heres a picture of my bite though. How should I go about measuring it? I know doctors use like xrays to determine coverage
