Getting braces off

Im currently 1 year into braces and still need to go another year but i will get them off in a month because I don’t want them on anymore do you think they will recommend a retainer or will they just remove it and let my teeth rot

so why does ur ortho say you need one more year, personally im trusting them. its not that big of a deal to keep them on for longer aswell tbh
