Anyone expert on cardiology? I get very fast heartbeats in risky or stress situations. For example during a argument my heart gets so fast that i am short of breath. Also heart arrythmias are a problem. For example last winter some kids have thrown some snow balls on my driving car, and when i got outside i felt like i get a heart attack. Very irregular heart beats that only normalised when i pushed my belly out and stood still for a few minutes. Its like my heart cant deal with the adrenaline or anger.
Already been checked by 2 cardiologists and they did not found anything wrong with my heart function/shape.
Dont want to take beta blockers everyday. Maybe there is another treatment.

Deep breathing exercises during the day, and *Progressive Muscle Relaxation* exercises in the morning and before sleep, bro.

It’s normal. That’s what being nervous does. Adrenalin. Honestly just learn to appreciate the feeling. Appreciate risky moments. Cuz it’s fun if you do smth risky. Let it be rooftopping or just being anxious when speaking infront of a class. When I feel under pressure I think about how nice the feeling is. Makes me perform better and it’s fun

metoprolol (beta blocker) low dose solves any blood pressure/ pulse pb for me in 15 min; you dont have to take it regularly; its a pre- heart attack medicine so use it only when you need it , aka when you feel like your head is exploding and your heart is coming out of your chest  (which you should, if you are having very high BP/pulse)
its good to have around the house

How long does the effect last? Could you ride a bike "under the influence" or would you wind out super fast? I was recommended beta blockers but have to commute by bike. Maybe could pop one in the bathroom before class if it starts working as early as in 15min

It's anxiety. I'm also like this somehow. Smallest type of aggresion, my adrenaline is released and I'm in fightmode. Can't think straight because of it if I'm in an altercation

i dont know about that tbh....but its best not to start raising your pulse a lot right away....if you bike slower i think its ok....its incredibly efficient, i take half a pill and even when i felt i was dying (when i reach possibly the highest pulse i ever had) it took max 15 min for everything to be cleared up...its a powerful pre heart attack pill for old people, remember that and only use once in a while as needed

Drugwise, Propanalol would be a good idea but not if you already are hypotensive

For the fast heart beat part
Thats adrenaline (stress hormone) and shallow rapid breathing

You might be having an overactive stress response
and (hyperventilation) that goes on subconsciously during arguments and anger or when you feel threatened in any way

You might even be feeling your heart skip beats or pause , some weird shit like this
These are PVCs (a little irregularity in the rhythm, benign if any underlying cardiac pathology has already been ruled out) your heart has a ability to recover its rhythm back

Try proper breathing like slow deep breaths with exhales longer than inhales
Instead if shallow breathing when you feel your Heart rate racing up

It takes practice

Thanks, I'll look into it:)sounds like really strong stuff. IIRC the nurse recommended Propranolol so maybe it's weaker than Metaprolol and will do

Im 178cm manlet, but i think you are right. The few 30+ slayers have all one thing in common amd thats very tall height and frame. Older roasties 25+ are addicted to these type of guys. For skinny pretty boys without very masculine height&frame its very over after 25-28.

hair is equally as important as height at this point

your prime is over
