Girl said she’s not looking for something “serious”

Yesterday ive been told that she’s not looking for anything “serious”. This is a girl ive liked since the beginning of the school year ive tried at the start of the school year but she had a boyfriend back then so i gave up. Fast forwards to the end of the school year so about a 3 weeks ago my homie (who is close to her and her friend which he was interested in) told me that she actually finds me really attractive and i still thought she looked good so we started talking and hanging out more and yesterday we made out and when i get home my homie asked me if im serious about being with her and i told him yes which he then replied on saying that she told him that she doesnt want anything serious right now and that she find me attractive and funny and all but that she doesnt have “feelings” for me like she would with someone who wants to start a relationship with. What am i doing wrong am i that ugly?

She said she wants to be friends with benefits because she still find me attractive and she still liked me but just wasnt looking for anything serious at the moment. Does this mean im just not good enough?
