Going out solo clubbing on Friday, tips?

So my only friend is out of commission, usually we go clubbing together and I get approached 1-4 times a night, however I want to try cold approaching and feel like solo is the best way to go about it.

I remember reading in some PUA guides to enter a club following a group of other people or to start chatting with other random guys before approaching girls, so they would think those are your friends and you aren't there alone...
Of course, this might backfire - you start talking with a girl and she asks you who you are there with and you can't really introduce her to the other people since you don't know them. If you're rejected, you also have no group of people to retreat to, before approaching another girl, so you either approach another girl directly who might see that you just got rejected and could be turned off by this, or spend some time alone, before approaching but in this case you will look all alone and creepy - either way you will still look weird.

Im quite picky about girls who I approach too-

I wont approach girls in big groups, prefer when theyre just out with 1 or 2 other girls, I wont approach girls in mixed gender groups, wont approach any fatties or girls who look too hot for me (rare I see a girl i genuiiney consider out of my league now tho no narcy). Also girls have to fit my kind of arhectype pregerence so that I could actually imagine her being warm and receptive to me. Dont think ive ever done more than like 10 in a single night tbh
