Went to the shopping centre today and it's honestly surreal how much of a glitch in the matrix this is compared to the stuff I read on here.
I don't know if it's the season or what, but it was just non stop. Walking past groups of girls and hearing the volume drop, the double takes, the staring, it's not even a subtle maybe.
It’s not even a look, it’s just this constant noticing of people in your peripheral vision snapping their heads toward you the second you walk past. You don't even have to look at them to know they’re doing it, you can feel the drag on your peripheral. I’m 5'11, I’m not some genetic anomaly, but the amount of girls just doing automatic double takes is actually exhausting when you dont like to be noticed.
The funniest part is knowing they’re all busy building some imaginary dark triad persona for me in their heads. In reality, I’m just an autist who finds the whole process of walking through a store incredibly tedious. They’re staring at an empty shell gooner. The gap between what they see and who I actually am is probably the most entertaining part of my day.
