Fuck yesterday I got some iois again this girl threw in a free choco pie because I was waiting for my food for a bit and I made her laugh when I talked to her.

I was on 3 day fast but had lots of food today to celebrate getting license but now I should actually try to get 15% bf to lose my virginity to a girl…

Also this guy asked me to follow his insta but I said no which proves to me that I’m not actually gay I’ve just been an incel for too long and have gotten mentally Ill from it

Maybe… 3 days isn’t really long enough to burn lots of fat imo 5+ is superior for burning calories at an exponential rate

Im prob at same weight as starting now jfl but at least I lift so the protein goes somewhere
 
How old? Fasting that long is bad for collagen if you're under 22 you just have to calorie deficit

This is something I struggle with slightly rn so anything that nukes it im avoiding like the plague

Perfect age actually, you're gonna make most of your aesthetic gains after 19 and yeah watch out for Collagen many things of ((nowadays)) can nuke it focus on getting small but nutrient meals 3 to 5 a day.

I have experience in this field. Waterfasting.

Autophagy dosent really start until the 4th day. This is when you will get so hungry that you start lucid dreaming about eating. After the 5th or 6th day it gets better physically, but mentally more or less. You can even refeed yourself by just smelling food at this point.

Water is important. Spring water. You need at least 4-5 gallons prepared because after the 4th day you will pretty much be bedridden. And water will become something like a food source. No need for salts, electrolytes, teas coffee etc. if you have spring water, Other things will just put your stomach back in run mode and defeat the purpose. Running up the stairs will exhaust you.

After the 7th day completion refeeding is important. When water fasting you want to make sure to refeed with probiotics the same day but not immediately. Id go full vegan with heavy ferments for at least a week after waterfasting because your stomach and gut is reset and u want to feed it the right thing. Kombucha, sakurat, kimchi, fermented beans, probiotics, avocados, bananas, apples oranges etc. You will have an instinctual sense to eat the right thing after though.

Dry fasting is another animal and more serious as your stomach completely shuts down. I would recommend water fasting to start, as refeeding on dry fasting causes insane amounts of stomach issues the first day or so as your stomach lacks acid and is really rebooting.

Benefits are your skin is pretty much clear during and after. You shred body weight and water weight but gain it back. But this is good as depending on your habits afterwards and diet you can pretty much keep a good percentage of benefits. Your body is also reset and autophagy really kills those old cells. I would only do this like once a month max though. You also get an insane amount of dopamine the first time you eat after a long fast. Body will feel good and tingle granted your refeeding with the right things.

Thank you for the advice. I wasn’t sure as to whether electrolytes started the stomach up as I always felt hungrier after eating salt but I will stick to pure water from now on and certain teas make me feel sick when fasting so imma avoid tea and coffee aswell

However beyond 3 days your energy drops off and you get weaker you feel hungover which is good

Your skin will look better bones will look better eyes will look uglier as hooding diminishes through that fat loss (don't worry you'll get it back)

I highly recommend it, it's also has anti aging effects long term

my acne has gotten better these past few days alone so I’m going to do a long term fast and bite the bullet My job is just retail and I’m physically fit so tasks like getting carts or bagging is easy for me even on a fast

Nice yea just bite the bullet tbh don't listen to the pussies who are like "just start of 24 hours wa wa just start of 2 days wa wa build up wa wa" fuck that noise go in the deep end no fucking around seven days, that's what I did aswell and it makes all the difference

Nice it's good that your fit in my opinion it may not build muscle but increases quality of muscle already there

I work a labour job I was lifting rocks and bricks on day 6 and 7 it was hard but cool I was thinking this is what it could of been like in the old days

You wont go into autophagy but may even get sick as your body will likely be oversaturated and focused on extracting the nutes and compounds -from those liquids. Like other guy said though its best to just bite the bullet. Water only. Spring water. The real benefits really overdrive at the 6 day mark. Im pretty sure fasting is part of the reason why i have clear skin and no health problems.

When you fast you also literally have a desire to eat healthier. Things like junk food wont be nearly as appetizing as a plate of broccoli or some fruits and cooked veggies to your mind. A real ascention.

The fast will detoxify the body that's why you may start feeling a hangover sensation as that's your body cleansing itself, and the best way is to introduce nothing but water into your body you could still have caffeine and the detoxification would remain effective but it wouldn't be anywhere near as good as without

coffee literally enhances autophagy. and if you're not eating salt 🧂 your electrolytes will be fucked. salt is also great for cravings

Its not about the autophagy. Its the nutrients in them too. Im assuming you mean caffeine or a certain compound in coffee to be the thing that enhances autophagy, because coffee contains more things than caffeine as a bean. The flavonoids themselves even color the water richly. When you extract the compounds and such with water those nutrients are leaking and its like drinking nutrients. Might as well drink fruit water.

Its going to stimulate your gastric and cause you to crave even more. Plus caffeine is also bad because its like taking a drug on an empty stomach, consistently. Just a terrible thing to do when fasting imo and causes more harm than good. Nobody who water fasts properly would even drink coffee or teas. Unless the fast they are doing is less of a proper one but instead an elementary fast (some people drink soups, fruit juices and water nutrients only and call it a water fast too, before building up to a pure water fast).

And you don't need salt when your drinking spring water. They are nano electrolytes in natural spring water. When you fast for a long time you will notice that spring water satiates you. Electrolytes and salts can also stimulate your gastric in a too high concentration and imo is not needed at all, but is like a crutch and almost excuse. It feels better to take electrolytes and salts externally because your body is craving for nutrients and those things satiate you better than spring water.

Also 5 days is decent, but 7 days id say is recommended because you have at least 2-3 days of guaranteed autophagy. The first few days your body is still in ample reserves, and sometimes longer depending on the person. After 3-5 days you really notice the change

Autophagy is not exclusive to fasting either. A lot of people go keto just for autophagy. Its mainly described as when your body is in a metabolic state of burning fat for energy instead of sugar. Perhaps coffee does help with autophagy, but certainly not fasting. Autophagy is just 1 of the benefits of fasting but not limited to. Its way more benefits than this.

Don’t plan to be super productive tbh
Expect potentially lower mood and plan accordingly
Maybe electrolytes during it since it’s a whole week (search Reddit fasting electrolytes wiki)
With 2hr cardio per day, you can lose a pound per day, but more since water weight will drop too
