High exertion low volume doesn't do shit for me bhai, especially on compound exercises

I think you need a volume accumulation phase and only when you're peaking out your strength then you lower volume and increase intensity tbh

Vid related may be relevant. The TLDR is that there's evidence that low RPE (far from failure) training often produces better gains

Although u still can go closer to failure on smaller, single joint exercises
