I've gotten compliments with Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, Dior Homme Intense and Acqua di Gio Profumo, but it was always women I was already hooking up with. The closest thing you'll get to a consensus on the best ones is Dior Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel EDP. Honestly probably not something worth thinking about if you're not already looksmaxing and improving your social life. Use this list from fragrantica as your reference for what to look for.
