Is the extraction the only way u can get recessed from a ortho bevause I got braces for 2 years and they did NOT fix my overbit just my alignment but they didnt take out anything.

With Herbst appliance be good or is there anything else they can do to fix mandible or maybe reduce the reccisioness /downward growth?
