. 5'0", rice american, LL is pointless because I'd still be hopelessly short or left with weird af proportions. Mostly given up on dating out of frustration with the contradictory advice between putting yourself out there and not being desperate when everyone (often correctly) assumes desperation whenever you show the slightest bit of actual interest
What kills me most about being short is the lack of respect compared to tall people. I've lost count of the number of times I walk up to a counter and the people at Starbucks decide I can wait so they finish doing literally everything else, continue their conversations, etc, before they get to me, then not five minutes later they're in the same situation and drop everything to attend to a tall customer when one walks up.
Either that or if I need something from a coworker who's in the middle of a conversation, I'll approach them and wait for them to finish, and they just keep talking like I'm not there until a tall person walks up and they immediately stop talking to see what it is they need.
Anyway, I got addicted to a waifu dating sim/puzzle game because the characters are all fascinated by me and laugh at my jokes instead of how audacious it is for someone my height to be talking to them. I won't name the game so the devs don't get any ideas but I would be absolutely fucked if this game has any kind of pay to win setup. The ease with which these people could monetize my pain and loneliness is honestly frightening.
