I am going to be going to University in Japan starting in September. I will first list the good parts, then I will list the bad parts. Tell me if you think it's great idea, or shit idea.

PROS:
White Chadlite in Asia, Slaying potential pretty much as good as it gets
Solid opportunity to build tight circles in environment
Get to my make my Mother proud with degree
Get to explore beautiful place with culture I've loved since childhood
Get to be blonde indifferent anime villain, smoking cigs, and again slaying whoever.
Super clea, health conscious, low germ area (helps my germ OCD)

CONS:
The biggest con is definitely my age. Boys, I'm 27 years old. Will this make me look like retard? School is half Japanese, half International.. Japanese students will usually be 18-20, International students will usually be 19-24. Will this make Sensen Sensenpai? Or will it just make me look like retarded old man trying to get semblance of past glory back?

Getting a college degree in itself won't do anything to help you unlike what my parents claim all the time. The degree is only worth something if it leads to a high paying high demand job. You need a plan, you need to know what your job is going to be afterwards before you even pick your college program, otherwise you risk wasting a lot of time and money that could have been put to better use.

Never ask your parents for advice on important stuff like that, learn it from experts online instead or from experts in books, they know more about that than most people. Your parents don't want what is the best for you, because that is actually objective, they want what they think is best for you, in other words, they want you to do things that will make them happy, so if you try to please them, you'll never be happy because you won't be doing what you want.

Asking for advice is fine but you have to figure out your own path by yourself, and if you can't do that, then other people will be glad to do it for you, but you won't be living the best life that you could have had, even if you put in lots of effort, time and energy. I've started the language two months ago and have another 9 months to become at least conversational. To be fair, I'll be at that level in 2-3 more months. I would do intensive language studies there as well. Language has always been easy for me, 99th percentile verbal IQ.
