why would you live there? people work long hours, live in super small apartments and nobody has sex there (excluding japanese chad). also a lot of people seem to be degenerated (probably comes with overpopulation)

It seems to me its not that different from a big american city except it has quite a few positives that american cities lack
-its clean
-low crime
-good quality public transport
-lots of small businesses/diverse types of businesses so you can get many things for a reasonable price

here in an american city the average young man works more than 40hours a week, he barely gets sex if any, he pays exorbitant prices for crammed shitty old apartments. And there are probably people making a bunch of noise where he lives, maybe stealing his mail, which is surprisingly common. Just a few months ago cities were boarding up all their storefront windows because riots were destroying everything from small restaurants to walmart. I can see why people prefer japan. Its not the place for me but it definitely has its positives
