Got my orthodontist to put in a request for me to get BSSO + Genioplasty instead of Tooth Extraction

Purest form of life fuel ever. I talked to my orthodontist recently and used all the terms I knew to explain to her that I was recessed in the lower jaw and maxilla and had an uneven chin. Originally I wanted to get her to approve me for a Bimax but she said that’s unlikely although she will think about it, however she’s put in a request for me to get BSSO + Genioplasty.

Don’t ever give up my friends, the future is bright, you just have to go for it!

Thank you, I will continue to give updates as it comes. I learned that you just genuinely have to ask for it, tooth extraction would have recessed me further but thankfully due to her kindness I now have a chance for something more.
