Today I got a call and found out that my grandmother passed away. It’s strange, but I didn’t feel anything for the first hour after I heard the news. Then I went to take a shower because I felt like a dirty bastard. I turned the water temperature up to the maximum and lay there while my body burned from the pain. I wanted to masturbate, as I usually do in the shower, but I just couldn't. Suddenly, tears started streaming from my eyes.
For the next two hours, I lay in the tub under that same hot water, remembering all the most beautiful moments from my childhood spent with my grandma. The saddest part is that today is Saturday—the day I usually call my nana and we talk. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to call her today and tell her how much I love her.
The moral of my story is that you must cherish those who are close to you and those who love you. Always say kind words to your loved ones, because you never know what will happen tomorrow.
