This isn’t a skull/forehead deficiency. The issue is proportional imbalance — the lower third was advanced more than the midface, creating a mismatch. On top of that, hair volume, head posture, and nose prominence post-op exaggerate the effect. It’s a planning/balance issue, not a cranial deficiency.

I mean it does make the nose worse from the front almost everytime and it can also move the cheek fat pads lower

But if you have a mtn front and chad side, you don't get any extra points from it really

I think the first guy is a great possible example of @yussimania theory about 'chimp lip' as he talked about in his post "autisitic ramblings part 3"

To me he looks to have been overadvanced, particularly in his upper jaw for this point, and dogmaxed like stated by @lurking truecel :

I think his theory abt 'chimp lip' in relation to overadvancement and in tandem with the angle of the jaws possibly being altered w either cw or ccw rotation holds a good weight and seems makes sense to me

You can see the curve of his philtrum get absolutely nuked with the excess of advancement while i dont think there was any ccw rotation, it looks to me that he is just simply tilting his head up slightly more, but if there is ccw and I am wrong i believe it would only prove his theory to be more correct

I think it would be interesting to see which plays a bigger role in the 'chimp lip' either the advancement or rotation which we could possibly see in a case similar to this if they were to overadvance but then rotate cw becuase i would assume that the cw rotation would potentially counteract some of the effects of the 'chimp lip' from an overadvancement, having the opposite effect of ccw, and help retain atleast some of that philtrum curve instead of potentially worsening it

Both overadvanced, second one already had his maxilla way developed, his jaw was reccesed.

Both outcomes are kinda botched, but first one is much better than the second.

you need vertical deficiency to ascend with bimax. Just being recessed doesn't matter

You're seen IRL not just from the front angle

For example if you're mtn-htn from the front but from the side it turns out you have a brutal underbite, you're gonna get bullied
