Forward head posture is by many considered something you should fix and one of the main postural issues.

Below are pictures of cephalometrics of people before and after jaw surgery. Mind you that I'm not cherry picking here, these are the images that will pop up if you google "jaw surgery cephalometrics before and after" or similar stuff.

The neck of all the people in these images in the after pictures is extended forward and up. In some it's more forward, in others more upward, but both movements are clearly present in all, to some extent. You can imagine how that would open up the airways (clearing of the airways is a very common benefit of jaw surgery).
All of these pictures are also taken immediately after surgery or after a few months.

The picture that I found most interesting though is this one:

It shows the before, immediately after surgery (as you can see from the swelling) and after about a year of a patient.

I've made a few posts talking about why I don't think implants, fat grafts, fillers are a good solution for most people. The main reason is that attractiveness is stricly connected to performance and function. The mentioned procedures do not restore any function, but rather try to hide the problem, but that's like putting a band aid on a bullet wound.
In those same threads I also talked about how surgery isn't optimal either. While it does restore some performance as shown in the pictures above it's only a matter of time before your habits kick back in and make you relapse and lose all the artificially gained function.

Draw your own conclusions from this post.

can't have shit even after surgery :feelswhy:

i wonder if there is an actual correlation since this is the first time i'm seeing that jaw surgery caused forward head posture

Yeah there is definitely some correlation. With the head forward and up like that the airways are much more open. I think that position is the most optimal. The neck is forward but it's not curved
