Second serious thread in my profile most of the things will be pretty obvious imo but i keep seeing tons of people asking about how to use whitening strips,how to whiten teeth,what are the best whitening strips,will whitening strips fuck my teeth? etc.
1) Understanding dental anatomy and physical structure
Hydrogen peroxide is the main chemical we are interested in whitening strips because that is what makes our teeth look whiter because it breaks the stain molecules in our teeth.This will NOT chop enamel off and it will NOT fuck your teeth up. The problem is that enamel has a natural white hue and even leans on the translucent side therefore the "stains" and color we see is most commonly the dentin color. Most of your tooth's natural color (and deep staining) comes from the dentin which is naturally yellowish therefore we want to "bleach" the dentin not the enamel.
DISCLAIMER:Cheap, off-brand strips often use harsh acids or chlorine dioxide instead of peroxide. Therefore this will not just bleach your teeth they dissolve your enamel and fuck up your teeth. Once your enamel is stripped, it never grows back

Now that we know that hydrogen peroxide is the shit we are looking for we need to get the most out of it.I used crest because i know it doesnt have chlorine dioxide neither harsh acids.Also they remark publicly their hydrogen peroxide concentrations which we are looking for.
3) How to install them properly and tips
Floss and brush 30 minutes before applying
Dry your teeth with a towel before applying the strips
Cut the whitening strips into your size and stretch them enough so when you apply them its sticks until your first premolar,second premolar if you have a really wide smile
DO NOT DO STEP NUMBER 3 thats where most of the sensitivity comes from. Apply/cut whitening strips so when you put them on you dont have to fold them under.
Finally if you haveinvisaligns chuck them on for extra safety.
Leave them on for 45-60 minutes
Use 1 strip on top and 1 on bottom per day and avoid coffee, tea, soda, wine, and smoking on treatment days.
Use the whole box and wait 6 months to redo the

Results after just 10 strips. Will do the other 10 in a week
