-- GUIDE TO PHENOTYPES --

By @subhuman wasian

WHAT ARE PHENOTYPES?
To put it simply, Phenotypes are a set of observable characteristics (e.g. height, hair-type, nose-shape, skin-colour, frame. eye-colour, etc.) based off of your genes and your environment. This differs from Genotype as Genotype is solely off of your genetic blueprint, whereas Phenotype relies on your genes paired with environmental factors.
WHY ARE PHENOTYPES IMPORTANT?
Phenotypes are important as we can cater towards certain aspects of our pheno that tend to be weaker and/or need improvement, helping us improve (mostly colouring and misc) and look better amongst those around us.

HOW CAN I FIND MY PHENO?
Some common phenotypes are Nordic (Northern Europe), Mediterrand (Mediterranean region), Gracile Mediterrand (Italy, Spain, Greece), Indid (North-West India), Sinid (East Asia) and Ethiopid (East-Africa). Sinid is arguably the most common phenotype due to East Asia having one of the highest populations in the world. However, if you do not fall under any of these phenotypes, you can easily find yours by going to Human Phenotypes and looking around your area to see which one you resemble the closest to, or phenotypes.pages.dev.

NORDID: Dye and grow eyebrows/eyelashes (tend to be lighter and less full), fill out frame (Nordid's are often quite tall), thicker/fuller lips (often have thin lips, especially upper.).

MEDITERRAND: Groom eyebrows (tend to be quite thick and bushy), thin down nose (tip can be quite big and can be an unpleasing shape), fill out frame.

SINDID: Dye and grow eyebrows/eyelashes (tend to be less full), thin down nose (can be quite wide), find a good hairstyle that's medium -long hair length.
