What is Reta, and what does it do?

Reta is short for retatrutide. It is a triple agonist peptide. It works similarly to Ozempic/segmaglutide, however, it does many other cool things. Below, this table shows the main differences between retatrutide and ozempic to my understanding.
RetaOzempic
Appetite supression✅✅
Insulin sensitivity (lowers risk for diabetes, helps build muscle)✅❌
Boosts Metabolism✅❌
While this all sounds amazing, keep in mind you can be prescribed ozempic, and I do not believe you can reta, making ozempic a potentially safer option. I also believe ozempic can be taken orally as well.
The metabolism boost is really just about 5-10% of bodyweight, so it is not a huge difference. The reason people lose weight is because of the glucagon benefits and the appetite supression, leading to a calorie deficit.
How much does retatrutide cost?
Reta can be found online from 12-200$. 200$ is highway robbery in my opinion. Most people will find it at 50-80$ from research sites.

How is it stored?
Retatrutide is typically reccomended to be stored at 36-46 degrees farenheight (https://nowpatient.com/blog/how-to-store-retatrutide), however, there is no official number sent out by the FDA, as it is not FDA approved, therefore this is not medical advice. In unopened dry powder form, it supposedly can be stored at room temperature away from light.

How is it taken and reconstituted?
Retatrutide is taken sub-q, typically via insulin needle, however, technically the only way you are supposed to take it is through retatrutide pens. When one receives the vial of dry powder, it should be mixed with bacteriostatic water in order to be reconstituted into liquid form. .1ml of BAC water per 1mg of reta is reccomended.

video:

What are the typical doses?
I don’t want to say a set number, however most people start at .5mg - 2mg. 1mg typically = 10 units on a syringe.

Tirz>Reta for appetite suppression for me. Reta will still have you lose weight through other mechanism though. Like increasing basal metabolic rate. I can tell because my resting heart rate (during sleep) jumps up like 5-7 bpm whenever I take it compared to without it.

absolutely my friends going from reta to tirz cuz he has little appetite supression on reta.
it could be underdosed as well. If anyones on a budget and therefore doesn’t want to buy shit tons of reta the move is definitely tirz over reta

Thanks bro, Reta is typically pinned weekly. But dosages vary, so you don’t have to stick with that. Also .5mg probably won’t make you feel anything. But it’s to test if your a hyper responder.

Great Thread Mirin the Effort. Personally did 0.5mg first week then went to 1mg, then 2mg, then 2.5mg. I stayed i on 2.5 for about 6 weeks lost around 30 to 40 pounds. One effect I Definity had was that my weight would jump around a lot a week for example. I would stay the same weight for a week then and another week I would lose 5 pounds, other weeks I would lose more its jumpy as hell.
