Guys are jealous of pretty boy/handsome man?

I have a friend who is the typical pretty boy: white, good jaw, collagen, skinny, reasonable height (5'10 in Brazil) and good hair. It even has a lot of followers on IG and needless to say it can easily get foids
Well, today he reported that he was suffering bullying at work, where the guys called him gay and teasing him, lmao
Do you think that this often happens only with pretty boys or handsome men in general?

Of course they are jealous but they don't bully them JFL.
