half of you incels for some reason love meat riding 6-7 day PPL programs (probably got it from tiktok even though yall shit on it so fuckin much), "if i workout 7 days a week im gonna be so strong! because im a walking whale, and a virgin at 50 im gonna workout 7 days a week! im so smart" this is literally every person here who posts a gymmaxxing guide, if u do this shit atleast read one thing about hypertrophy and fuckin wake up, if ur over 700 lbs keep on bulking and if ur under 50lbs keep cutting trust me itll look good! u fuckin idiots r too dumb to make ur own programs that are better than whatever ur gonna find here lmfao, and learn that a full body split for begginers will double ur gains over a PPL split. I don't know if I'm a beginner or not. I worked out for about a month last year, then half a month or so a while later, and then went semi-consistently this year which forms a month (if you're getting frustrating so am I, school just doesn't let me work out). At first I did some random split but this year I did PPL. What should I do?
Make ur own full body split, its not abt the time or times at the gym its abt the progress, search up how to make ur own full boody split on yt

Alright, but wouldn't a upper/lower split be more efficient as you have more time to work each part more so better gains? Working them frequently but not enough is worse than working them less frequently but more sets AFAIK.

doesnt work like that lol the elss days and more u do is actually better cuz its abt volume and u have more rest

Volume means nothing without sets, I'd rather do 3-4 sets with an upper/lower split and rest days in between than 1-2 sets and cram all of the body parts into one day (also means you have to do less exercises for each part).

Also do you have a specific vid you're talking about? I don't think there's any video which tells you how to make your own, they just give you theirs.

this is true, and the reason is that beginners don't need as much volume to spur super compensation and super compensation peaks 24-72 hours after stimulus so it's possible to make progress 3X per week, whereas with PPL you're only making progress 1X per week. You think "well, if I'm doing the same amount of volume over the course of a week then I'll make just as much progress" but, no, that's not the way it works. everyone should read Practical Programming by Mark Rippetoe.

In PPL you workout a muscle every three days. If I do Chest (push) on Monday then I'll do it again on Thursday.
