Hair best after shampoo?

i used to shampo once few weeks,only using conditioner mostly.Past years my hair has been weird,sometimes its stay the best few days after washing it,with shampoo or not. Now it looks the best after i apply shampoo and conditioner ,i have wavy hair.

should i just sticking with shampoo every 3 days?

I wash my hair w salt water everyday and its very textured . Shampoo is killer for good looking hair
