Any product recs in particular?
Uhh i got curly hair i might not be the best to answer.

I used based 2y ago (Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave in) and it was really good. never bought it again cuz it was expensive asf (126eur due to customs and shipping :feelswhy:)
I tried Garnier, its ok if you have to buy It irl...
Right now im using Noah for the shampoo and Freecolor professional keratin powermask for hydration.

Idk what type of hair u got and if it is thick or thin. Get medium or Heavy hold products if thin (Clay is heavy pomade is medium) and if they are thick just sea salt or have then hydrated correctly, haircare mogs styling as It could be a styling aswell if done correctly.

I have also heard ppl using egg yolk products, i would do some research on It.

hope this helped you

I have fine, straight hair.

Yeah the cost and delivery time is too much to get Based.

Do you think something like this will do for styling?

Also before getting the haircur, style your hair, the haircur its just the amount of hair you'll have never pray your barber does a good job cuz he wont, for him you are Just another client not masterpiece to create.

And for the applying, pomade is perfect for sides, use Just a Little bit on the front, you want a Little bit of movement in the front to give a better impression of healthy and alive hair.
put a good amount on the top to add details, you will use those to give the impression of more volume and movement on the sides.
