The hair on my head is receding and thinning

Im 17 and have always had healthy medium - longish wavy/curly hair that was happy with until 2 - 3 months ago when it slowly started to thin and recede at the corners, i noticed the hair at my hair line are thinner in the light and the corners are more pushed back then ever, as well as the overall density of my hair follicles (can see a significant amount of scalp when hair is wet, losing a terrible amount of hair in the shower) and my hair isn't as curly/wavy as it was before and doesn't hold shape well. I have become very insecure about it, i only wear hats to school and my job right now.

Some things i should mention being that i have been using Head & Shoulders Shampoo for the last few years (yes i know its terrible but i dont know what to switch too, and hair is incredibly oily after a day or 2 no wash which is somewhat normal since i have very large and oily pores naturally).
And, i don't directly have the hair loss gene from a biological standpoint (My father is bald and has been since 45, but... my moms father *which is apparently where the "balding gene" comes from* had a thick curly full head of hair when he died at 70 all though it was grey).

Tips I need:
- Any recommendations on Shampoo or Conditioners that are healthier then the shit ass h&s i have been using for years that might be the reason im balding.
- Should i consider taking Oral Minoxidil (if so, dose?, brand?, information?)
- Any other tips would be appreciated.

It's not that easy.

Apply RU-58841 until you reach an age where you can comfortably consider finasteride.

He's 17 and isn't done growing. OP tell us more about your lifestyle, no matter what anyone says it is NOT normal for a 17 year old to bald even if they are genetically prone to MPB. Yes HnS is bad but it's not the reason for your hairloss, both my father and grandfather/uncles on mother/father side have hair loss but i didn't lose any hair at all until i was 25/26 years old and yes i did use HnS all throughout my teens and up until 25, it's not good for your hair but it won't really cause hairloss when everything else is functioning correctly.

i used minox at 17, it probably, more than likely made me bald even more, making my hair addicted to it.

What lifestyle information do u need i will tell.

I really am curious why so many teenagers in the current generation are facing issues with hairloss, 10 years ago not a single teenager i knew was balding or didn't have a full thick head of hair. What is going on with you kids huh? did the jews poison you?

Bro lifestyle shouldn't be causing you to bald at 17 unless you are severely obese or have other health conditions. I had the absolute worse lifestyle you could have during all the way from 17 until 25, there is clearly something else going on but at your age i doubt you'll find out what's truly going on because you don't have the money to get your hormones and other checked.

Ok well im not obese, Im 6,4 190 lbs but i do have a autoimmune disease and neurodivergence... Raynaud's Syndrome, it reduces the blood flow even in room temperature environments to extremities in my case my fingers and toes that has been increasingly worse due to mental stress due to really bad general anxiety disorder. I also take Concerta 56mg which is probably another factor that is worsening my Raynaud's Syndrome, stress/anxiety and overall health.
