Yea cause the shampoo strips your natural oils away leading to your scalp using exes oil to clean it, which is why your hair turns greesy after a few days of not using shampoo which is not normal, a lion doesent need to shampoo his mane, I have the same hair type as you it seems other than mine being a bit wavyer, but quiting shampoo was the best thing I did for my hair tbh
